It was a bit of a haul for Firouz Haghighi to get to the Eastern States Championships at Sebring because he made the trip from Texas, but he’s certainly glad he did. Firouz not only got to see Sebring International Raceway for the first time, but he took the ST2 class victory on Saturday and set the pole for Sunday’s Championship Race.
“It was a great race,” Haghighi said. “This is my first time here, I’m from Texas and it’s a great track. I really like it. It’s such a historic track and this is such a great event.”
